RITUALS
A typical morning starts at 5 A.M. in the summers and 5:30 A.M. in the winters. The two timings given below are for summers and winters respectively.
Badey Dadaji’s and Shri Chottey Dadaji’s swaroop are bathed and decorated with flowers while religious hymns are recited.
07:30 / 08:00 : Shiv Panchakshar Strotram, Shiv Manas Puja, Narmada Aarti, Rudrashtak, Narmadashtak, Rudrashtak once again, Dada Naam and Raksha Karo are recited.
After morning Nevadh, Shri Chottey Sarkarji sits with everyone and has prashad (Nevadh is a food offering in the temple. prashad is the food considered to be blessed by Gods)
9:30 / 10:00 : Bhajans are sung, Hanuman Chalisa & Rudrashtakam are recited and in conclusion ‘Bolo Re Beliya’ and ‘Jai Shri Dadaji Ki’ are recited. (Bhajans are devotional songs)
Noon: Afternoon Nevadh
13:00 / 13:30 : Prashad is served.
15:30 / 16:00 : Mandir doors are opened and Vedic Mantras are recited by the priest.
16:00 / 16:30 : Bhajans are sung Shri Chottey Sarkarji and others, followed by Hanuman Chalisa, Shiv Mahimna, Shiv Tandav and concluded by reciting ‘Bolo Re Beliya’ and ‘Jai Shri Dadaji ki’.
Every Thursday, Shri Satyanarayan Katha is read in the Darbar.
Evening Nevadh.
19:30 / 2000: Shiv Panchakshar Stotram, Shiv Manas Puja, Narmada Aarti, Rudrashtak, Narmadaashtak, Rudrashtak once again, Dadashtak, Dada Naam are sung followed by recitation of ‘Raksha karo hamari’
21:30 / 2200: Prashad is served and mandir doors are closed.
It is strongly believed that Shri Badey Dadaji and Shri Chottey Dadaji are always present around us. This is why all prayers, recitations and bhajans are sung with the belief that they are always listening. Shri Chottey Sarkarji preaches to his disciples that they must always be mindful that Shri Badey Dadaji and Shri Chottey Dadaji are omnipresent no matter where you are, at home, outside or abroad.
